Fight!第一次戰役

Sammy: "I'm Sammy the squirrel. I'm looking for something to do!"
Sammy：「我是Sammy。好無聊，找點事來消遣消遣。」

Sammy: "Fiona is not totally awake. Time to attack!"
Sammy：「孟田還沒完全清醒，攻擊的最佳時機！」

Fiona: "How dare you! I'll bite your behind!"
孟田：「好大膽，我要咬你的屁股。」

Fiona: "I can open my mouth big to bite your belly!"
孟田：「我的嘴巴可以張的大大的來咬你的肚子。」

Sammy got a helper.
Sammy找來了一個幫手。

Fiona: "Peter rabbit tastes pretty good too."
孟田：「彼得兔嚐起來還不錯。」

Sammy got another helper.
Fiona: "No problem. I can eat you all."
Sammy又找來了一個小兔兔幫手。
孟田：「沒問題，我可以把你們全部吃光光。」

Fiona: "Oh, no. Sammy is attacking my nose!"
孟田：「不妙，Sammy攻擊我的鼻子！」

Fiona: "I finally finished them all. They sure tasted good!"
孟田：「終於把他們都解決了！」

Fiona: "By the way, Mum, what's for lunch? Milk again?"
孟田：「對了，媽，中午吃什麼？該不會又是母奶吧！」

Life at home -- more new photos

Here are a few more new photos taken at home. Fiona is smiling more, and becoming more aware of her environment. Bathing is still one of her favorite things to do. It seems that she likes to be wrapped as a strawberry too. Isn't she cute?!
孟田現在非常容易被逗笑，也開始注意到週遭的環境。每到一個新的地方，她都要瞪大眼睛看個半天。洗澡仍是她最喜歡的活動之一，看來她也很喜歡在洗完澡後被包成一顆草莓呢！

Park outing濱江公園遠足

It was a great sunny afternoon -- a perfect day for Fiona's first trip to the river park. We pushed her there in the stroller. First she thought the sun was too bright, but she got used to it :-)
第一次帶孟田到河濱公園，也是孟田第一次覺得陽光不再那麼的刺眼！

Good Morning早安

Fiona probably won't like it when she grows up and sees these photos on our blog. She always has to stretch about 20 times after she wakes up!
孟田長大後，大概不會喜歡我把這張難看的睡相放在blog上。 毎次睡醒後，被抱到尿布桌時，大概要伸20次懶腰才夠！

Being chubby!胖嘟嘟

We love to look at Fiona's little hands and feet. She's so fat that even her feet have little "hills" on the top. She always rubs her feet when I change her nappy!
好喜歡看孟田肥嘟嘟的小手和小腳，她已經胖到連腳背都凸的像個小山丘。每次換尿布時，就看到兩隻小腳似乎很不安的搓來搓去。

An afternoon with Auntie Jolene在二阿姨家

Fiona had a fun adventure this week -- a trip to Auntie Jolene's. She also played with her cousins, Wei-Wei and Sunshine.
我這天的下午有事，請我二姐和媽媽幫我看孟田。孟田的兩個表姊：暐暐和想想也很盡力的陪她玩呢！孟田的二阿姨很會照相，孟田也蠻會擺姿勢的！

The first week of 2006

My family was with us until January 9. We were thankful to be able to spend this time with them. During the last week we went up to the top of Taipei 101, visited a couple of night markets and a little paper factory. One day we drove out to the East coast to see Jin Gua Shi and Jiu Fen, two ancient little mining villages.
Gareth孟楷的爸、媽和妹妹一月九日回加拿大了。我們很高興他們能夠來一起共度(晚了一天的)聖誕和新年。上個星期我們去了台北101大樓、通化和士林夜市、以及紙藝博物館。孟楷還請了一天假，我把孟田放在娘家，一起開車到金瓜石和九份走走。

In between spending time with Fiona, we enjoyed some meals at the American Club, a hike along the mountain behind our house, a visit to a nice tea house up in the forest, and other fun outings. At church we also had a baby dedication ceremony for Fiona.
除了花很多時間又抱又寵孟田之外，孟楷帶著他們去爬我們家的後山，參觀了台北故事館。我姐夫還帶我們去川瀨喝茶。一月一日去教會時，還特地請牧師幫我們做了一個簡短的嬰兒奉獻禮。請上帝能一路帶領孟田，並看守她。
